With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Hammersmith of Bellevue, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Hammersmith and Catherine Hammersmith (Biebricher); his wife Garnet Hammersmith (Cole); his siblings, Leonard, Clifford Hammersmith and Martha Neeley; and his son-in-law Gene Manlet.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Manlet of Bellevue, Kathy Hackenburg of Bellevue, Jeanne Enstad of Columbus, Robert Hammersmith of Bellevue and Steven Hammersmith (Wendy) of Bellevue; and his friend Marna Muehlhauser. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
