Walter Matthews Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2019, at the age of 95, Walter Matthews (Bellefontaine, Ohio) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Matthews to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Acy Rush and Margaret Ellen Matthews (O'Connell); and his wife Shirley Chiles. He is survived by: his children, John Matthews (Laurie) of Bellefontaine, William Matthews of Washington, Linda Matthews of Rossford and Sue Matthews Carman of Bellefontaine; and his grandchildren, Michelle Schmicker (Todd), John Matthews (Alesha), Lauren Matthews, Chris Leasure (Kelly), Sumer Matthews, Mindy Matthews, Matthew Moffitt (Christine), Charles Moffitt, William Moffitt (Julie) and Dustin Moffitt (Monique Duly). He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
