He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Mary Ellen Davidson (Bosler); and his siblings, Ruth Nevers, Mary Kerns, Betty Ashby, Donald, James and Francis Davidson.
He is survived by: his children, Russell E. Davidson Jr. (Donna) of Houma, Louisiana, Theresa Davis (Tommy) of Houma, Louisiana and Maria Giroir (Merriel) of Houma, Louisiana; his brother David Davidson (Phylis) of Conroe, Texas; and his stepchildren, Ronnie and Peggy. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
