He was predeceased by: his siblings, Terry Nelson, Linda Nenninger and Richard Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Nelson (Williams); his children, Jonell Nelson (David Yohey) of Bellefontaine and Ross Christopher Nelson (Patricia) of Bellefontaine; his granddaughter Arielle "Carl" Nelson; his siblings, Jane Linville (Perry) of Bellefontaine, Mark Nelson (Kathy) of Huntsville and James "Jim" Nelson of Bellefontaine; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Nenninger of Bellefontaine and Ruth Anne Nelson of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
