He is survived by: his children, Christopher Oaks (Kyra) of Findlay and Stephanie Oaks of Bellefontaine; his foster daughters, Suzann Ross of Conroe, Jennifer Rubel of Walbridge, Brandy Walters (Marty) of Indianapolis, Kim Ritter (Duane) of Bellefontaine and Patricia Meyers (Jason) of Bellefontaine; his siblings, Brenda Wray (Dan) of Denver, Colorado and Steve Oaks (Becky) of Rushsylvania; and his brother-in-law Glenn Clark of Las Vegas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
