He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Lyman and Neva Coma Gilroy (Elliott); his wife Mary Alice Gilroy (Bazin); and his daughter-in-law Cindy Gilroy. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Gilroy (Heidi Esala), James Gilroy (Tina) of Franklin, William Gilroy (Melanie) of Bellefontaine and Donald Gilroy (Matt Bennett) of Indianapolis, Inidiana; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gilroy, Zachary Gilroy, Charles Bland (Stephanie), Breanna Baier (Brady), Brooke Marshall (Zane), Mike Kavanaugh (Nickie) and Matt Kavanaugh (Kaylee); his pet Sam; and his sister JoAnn Stewart of Hilliard. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
