Richard Stanford Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Stanford of Bellefontaine, Ohio, born in Logan, Ohio, who passed away on May 30, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Justin and Viola May Stanford (Snyder); and his daughter Judy Suratt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Harris (Wilson); his son Michael Stanford (Marissa) of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Shannon Mitchell (Jason) of Linden and Joshua Johnson of Texarkana, Texas; and his stepchildren, Steve Harris (Cindy) of Bellefontaine, Dave Harris (Peggy) of Rushsylvania and Beverly Brown (Don) of Bradenton, Florida. He is also survived by twelve step grandchildren; thirty two step great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the family will have private family graveside services with military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard in the Rushsylvania Cemetery.
