It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Harpest of Bellefontaine, Ohio, born in Logan, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 102, on August 16, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Lyon and Florence Dessie Lyon (Spurlock); her husband Willis V. Harpest; her sons, Bill Harpest and Ron Harpest; her grandsons, Kerry Harpest and Larry Harpest Jr.; her siblings, Fred Lyon, Roger Lyon and Ethel Davis; and her son-in-law Mike Berry.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Harpest, Rosemary Harpest and Vownetta "Kookie" Berry; her grandchildren, Shannon, Shawn Harpest, Mark Harpest and Jan Schneumann (Tom); and her daughter-in-law Patsy Harpest. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, all services will be held privately with burial at the Zanesfield Cemetery in Zanesfield, Ohio. The family asks that you be symptom-free and please wear a mask if attending the private services.
