She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Meade and Carrie Meade (Erwin); her husband Charles Gilbert Turner; her siblings, Virginia Meade, Pauline Foulk Taylor, Malcolm Meade and Donald Meade; and her great grandchild Fitzgerald Mark Drewes.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Suzanne Johnson (James), Marta Kay Cline (Jerry), Polly Jane Smith (Steve), Charles Gilbert Turner II (Hsin), Joseph Meade Turner (Amy) and Jonathan Clay Turner (Aimée); her grandchildren, James Robert Johnson (Sarah), Shelsea Lea Johnson, Julia Lyn Johnson, Charles G. Turner III, Maya Carrie Turner (Steven Wallace), Evan Lee Turner, Jordan Lee Cline, Whitni Christine Drewes (Tyler), Abby Catherine Turner (Zach Schell), Taylor Steven Smith, Brittany Hope Panter (Josh) and Jonathan Wyatt Turner; her great grandchildren, Aaron Losey, Ayanna, Aquavee, Agbeyenu and Leemu Madison; her grandchildren, Megan, Riley, Owen Johnson, Haven, Dahlia Turner, Everly, Jackson, Eila Drewes and Adalaide Panter; her friend Alison Luhn; and her brother Steven Douglas Meade (Barbara). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
