She was predeceased by: her parents, James Holbrook and Vessie Holbrook (Weaver); her husband Philip Edwin Contner; and her siblings, Juanita Wallingford (James), Freda Lindsey (Carl), Moncia Holbrook, Virgil Holbrook (Virginia), Buford Holbrook (Marie), Delbert Holbrook (Ellen), Herbert Holbrook (VernaJean), James Holbrook (Mary) and Hobart Holbrook (Gayle).
She is survived by: her son Dr. Gary Contner (Karen); her grandsons, Matthew Contner and Alexander Contner (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Declan Grayson Contner, Kennedy Contner of Georgia and Rhett Crosby Contner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
