He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Helen (Richardson) and Marshall J. Pierson II; his wife Julia Ann Hevener; and his sisters, Anne Pierson and Susan Cutler.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Pask, Nicholas Pierson, Amanda Blumer (Justin), Annie McNutt (Gabriel), Kathleen "Katie" Shade (Jason) and Heather Martzke (Andrew); his grandchildren, Ryanne, Nicholas "Cole", David, Sonny, Mariah, Levi, Adelina, Ezekiel "Zeke", Elora, Hannah, Sean and Violet; and his siblings, Jack Pierson (Jan), David Pierson (Karen), Mary Pierson (Bill Bordages), Michael Pierson (Ginny) and Rob Pierson (Val). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
