She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Hudson and Mary Eleanor Hudson (Horn); her husband John Miller Downing; and her sister Lois Huber. She is survived by: her sons, John Charles Downing (Peggy) of Lima, Michael E. Downing (Linda) of Cincinnati and Steve M. Downing (Lisa) of Pickerington, Ohio; and her sister Charlotte Belser of Bellefontaine. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
