She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell E. Thaxton and Mary Ellen Thaxton (Schrader); her daughter Christina Kay Snapp (James); and her siblings, Cletus Thaxton, Dorothy Tracey, Lucille Campbell (Bill) and Darrell Thaxton.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Lee Herring (Lori) of Bellefontaine, James Edwin Herring (Sherri) of Botkins, Jay Alan Herring of Spring Hill and Jerome Charles Ruble (Jenny) of Gibsonburg; her siblings, Howard Thaxton (Susan) of Phoenix and Lillian Willeke of Bellefontaine; and her siblings-in-law, Ernie Tracey and Marina Thaxton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
