Lois A. Holycross Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois A. Holycross of Bellefontaine, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Buchenroth and Tempie Buchenroth (Stutzman); her husband Raymond S. Holycross Sr.; her children, Raymond "Ray" Holycross Jr. and Janet Holycross; her daughter-in-law Chris Holycross; and her sisters, Jean McCloskey and Betty Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Steven R. Holycross of DeGraff and Connie D. Akers of Bellefontaine; her grandchildren, Julie, Steven, Greg, Jeremy, Ryan and Jennifer Willis (Matt); and her siblings, Martha Cox and Donald Buchenroth. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center (321 N Main St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
