It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena W Phelps (Bellefontaine, Ohio), who passed away on April 1, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cox and Laura Cox (Foughty); her siblings, James Cox, Walter Cox, Wilson Cox, Carlyle "Junior", Alfred Cox, Herbert Cox, Earl Cox, Laura Mae Longbreak, Naomi Cox and Velda Cox; her great grandchild David Boone; and her great great grandchild David Boone Jr..

She is survived by: her spouse Carl Eugene Phelps; her children, Clay Phelps of Rushsylvania, Edgar Phelps of Belle Center, Gary Phelps (Russlyn) of Bellefontaine, Linda Conkle of Florida and Wilma Jean Snapp of Lima; her siblings, Delmar Cox of West Liberty, Mary Weber of Bellefontaine, Phyllis Burkhammer of Russells Point and Betty Jane Cockerell of Celina; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Cox, Tempa Cox, Sylvia Cox and Willie I. She is also survived by grandchildren, three step-grandsons, seven great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.
