With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lajuana Briggs of Bellefontaine, Ohio, born in Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Freistuhler and Rosetta B. Freistuhler (Cathcart); her husband James D. Briggs Sr.; her siblings, Bob, Mike, Tim and Becky; and her great grandchildren, Hunter and Desiree Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya A. Fahnestock (Wayne) of Bellefontaine, Jamie L. Rogan (Danny) of Bellefontaine, Laurie S. Briggs of Bellefontaine and James D. Briggs Jr. of Bellefontaine; her siblings, Judy Rice (Mike) of Tipp City, Larry Freistuhler of Anna, Sonya Aiken (Tony) of Beavercreek, Jon Freistuhler (Elsie) of Sidney and Britt Freistuhler of Dayton; and her siblings-in-law, Sandy Freistuhler and Junior Douglas. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
