He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Steggeman and Theresa Steggeman (Lohmueller); his daughter Mary Patricia Woolf; and his siblings, Harold Steggeman, Ruth Rack, Rita Tinder, Wilma Doan, Helen Brady, Mary Steggeman and Agnes Breitenbach.
He is survived by: his wife Mary O'Brien Steggeman; his children, Theresa Dunn (Brant) of Bellefontaine, Susan York (Jim) of Plain City, Joseph Steggeman (Kelly) of Bellefontaine, Kevin Steggeman (Karen) of Bellefontaine and Mark Steggeman of Dublin; his son-in-law Brad Woolf of Bellefontaine; his friends, Susie Steggeman of Bellefontaine and Michele Steggeman of Hilliard; his sisters, Ethel Houchins of Bellefontaine and Edna Adams of Cincinnati; and his grandchildren, Heidi, Brien, Micha, Taylor, Connor, Aaron, Emily, Anna, Miriam, Hunter, Alyvia, Nick, Amber and Cody. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
