He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Colon and Laura Colon (Carreiro). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Melinda Colon (Miranda); his daughter Valerie Moore (Jeff); his stepdaughter Joy Jefferson (Michael); his sisters, Lovina Martinez of California, Lucille Castillo of California and Toni Sayers of California; and his pet Spoot. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
