He was predeceased by: his son Terry Kerr; and his siblings, James L. Kerr, Martha Robison (Kerr) and Francis Linthicum (Kerr). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Evelyn Ward August; his children, John Kerr Jr. (Carol) of Villa Hills, Jerry Kerr (Lynn) of Whitehouse and Ted Kerr (Sherry) of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Crystal and Rowan; and his sibling Richard Kerr of DeGraff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
