It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Lorenzo Egler of Bellefontaine, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Egler Ratliff and Lorenza Morris; his daughter Lucy; and his grandmother Pearline Egler. He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Katie" Egler; his son Nathaniel "PeeWee" Schmid (Hannah); his stepsons, Jacob Schmid of Charlotte and Zachary Schmid of Charlotte; his siblings, Sean Egler (Erica) of Bellefontaine, Judas Green (Yvonne), Paco Morris of Clinton Twp, MI, Charice Biddle (Alan) of Bellefontaine and Shatoya Martin (Craig); his stepbrothers, Gavin Howard of Georgia, Chaston Howard of Georgia and Chandler Howard of Georgia; his brothers, James Mundy, Aaron Berry, Jorrell Johnson and Joe Clifford; his godmother Janice Sims; his parents-in-law, Tonya Pohlman and Larry Gease; and his sisters-in-law, Danielle and Renae. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to state Covid-19 pandemic guidelines, attendees are asked to be symptom free and wear a facial covering.
