He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul David and Patricia Ann Sherrick (Cole); his grandparents, Cliff, Millie Stinson, Paul and Doris Sherrick; his son Michael Sherrick; and his nephew James Wicker.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Marie Sherrick (Coy); his children, Steven Sherrick (Shae), Jenna Sherrick and Erin Sherrick; his stepsons, Rob Yelton (Jaime), Brad Yelton (Ceci) and Ben Yelton; his granddaughters, Summer Sims and Thea Marie Grace Sherrick; his stepgrandchildren, Rayce Yelton, Coy Yelton, Jaycee Yelton, Levi Yelton, Blair Yelton and Callie Yelton; his siblings, JoDene Carter, Amy Esser (Eric), Rick Sherrick (Brooke) and Robbie Sherrick; and his pets, Poncho, Lefty and Jaxs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
