Though James David has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his children, Adam Prater of West Liberty, Alexia Prater of West Liberty, Alivia Prater of Anniston, April Johnson of West Liberty and Ashley Spriggs (Travis) of North Lewisburg; his granddaughter Ava Prater; his father Earl Peters of West Liberty; and his stepsiblings, Darla Summerlin of Tennessee, Ray Peters of Belle Center and Rick Peters of Lakeland, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home - West Liberty (101 Zanesfield Rd, West Liberty, OH 43357). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
