He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Nickelson; his son Josiah Nickelson; and his brothers, James and Joe Nickelson. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Godsey (Nate) of Belle Center, Rachel Puckett (John) of Belle Center, Isaac of Bellefontaine, Elijah Nickelson of Bellefontaine and Mariah Nickelson of Belle Center; and his siblings, Bill Nickelson (Cheryl) of Marysville, Lucy Young of Marysville, Frank Nickelson (Rose) of Springfield, Jane Forman (Ed) of Caledonia, Dan Nickelson (Michelle) of Newark, Bob Nickelson (Pam) of Richmond, VA and Linda Stangl (Kip) of Eagle River, AK. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
