George Edward Lear Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2023, at the age of 83, George Edward Lear (Bellefontaine, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frederick and Clara Dell Lear (Sullivan); his brother Richard Lear; and his brother-in-law David Huffman. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Hagar; his children, Michele Lear Steggeman of Rushsylvania and Richard Edward Lear (Mary) of Tennessee; his granddaughters, Anna Elizabeth and Miriam Jane Steggeman; and his sisters, Carolyn Taylor (Paul) of Springfield, OH and Judy Huffman of East Liberty, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
