He was predeceased by: his parent Henry T. Sr.; and his siblings, Mildred Davis, Anna Lee Godwin, Wanda King and John Bateman.

He is survived by: his parent Marie Bateman (Bush); his spouse Mary Lou Stevenson; his children, Chelyene Lynn Price (David) of Belle Center, Ohio and Gregory Chase Bateman (Michelle) of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Chanceler David Price, Ethan Tanner Price and Dalton Chase Bateman; and his siblings, Joyce Moore of Delaware, Ohio and Henry Bateman Jr. (Tina) of Sidney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
