It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary M. Smith of Bellefontaine, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Maxwell and Dorothy Pearl Smith (Poland); and his siblings, William Lewis Smith and Barb Searle Hone. He is survived by: his wife Lesa Nolan Smith; his children, Nickie Downing (Matt) of Bellefontaine, Deborah Conley (Adam) of Conover, Gena Francis (Michael) of Cincinnati, Randi Miller Smith of Newark, Shawn Richardson (Tonya) of DeGraff and Kenneth Jones of Bellefontaine; and his brother Dick Smith of Bellefontaine. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
