He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hamm and Florence Hamm (Pitt); his siblings, Ruth Latimer (Dennis), Betty Heath (Ron) and Marine Martindale "Pete" Hamm (Kay); his siblings-in-law, Jeannie Groves, Janie Barnhart and David Groves; and his stepgrandson Jeffery M. Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Ann Hamm (Groves); and his children, John M. Hamm (Lynn), Linda Latimer (Dodd), Vicki Gardiner (Verrill), Joyce Cox (Scott) and Jo Ann Clark (Jeff).
