He was predeceased by: his children, Ron Aultman, Betty Jo Aultman and Cheryl Ann Colyer; and his siblings, Patty Aultman, Marylou Evilsizor and Richard Aultman.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Aultman (Collette) of Lima, Ohio and Pam Pope (Ron) of DeGraff, Ohio; his children-in-law, Tim Colyer of Bellefontaine and Choi Aultman of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Heidi Duckro (Matt), Heather Kean (Chad), Hollie Pope, Joshua Aultman (Amanda), Mandy Allinder (Corey), Hana Bradt (Richard), Chris Aultman and Ashley Colyer; his great grandchildren, Jasmine of Jesse, C. J., Greg, Clay, Aaron, Kennadie, Colton, Brayden, Peyton, Calieb, Logan, Arriana, Karston, Audrey, McKenzie, James and Daniel; his siblings, Dorothy Sutphin of Pataskala, Ohio, Ray Aultman (Mae) of Clayton, Billy Aultman of Urbana and Steve Aultman (Kathy) of Urbana; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Fry (Gloria) of Conover, Betty Dowell of Bellefontaine and Merry Henry (Rick) of Bellefontaine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
