He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D. Fields and Pauline Fields (McClain); and his siblings, Raymond Fields, Mildred Beaty and Rosemary Romine.

He is survived by: his wife Peg Fields; his children, Tambra "Tammy" Fields and Paul "Doug" Fields; his grandsons, Michael Wolford, Shawn Pope, Nick Bishop and Micah Fields; his great grandchildren, Sierra, Gabby, Zarah, Alethia and Jackson; and his sisters, Peggy Creamer and Marie Wright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
