Ethel M. Houchins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ethel M. Houchins of Bellefontaine, Ohio, born in Lockland, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Steggeman and Theresa Steggeman (Lohmueller); her husband Grover Thomas Houchins; and her son-in-law Tom Smith. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Smith of Bellefontaine, Janice Aldo (Paul) of Bellefontaine and Daniel Houchins of Dublin; her grandchildren, Jeff Aldo (Abby), Todd Aldo (April), Paul Aldo (Michelle), Beth Kerns (Tim), Kim Case (Todd) and Caitlyn Houchins; and her sister Edna Steggeman Adams of Cincinnati. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She enjoyed knitting and made numerous lap robes, which she donated to area nursing homes.
