He was predeceased by: his parents, Logan Edward and Dorothy Louise Newlon (Sweeney); and his sister Jean Shepherd. He is survived by: his close friend Jeraldine Sue Schild; his wife Jeraldine Newlon; his children, Lesley Rowan (Kelly) of Don, II and Matthew Newlon (Monica); his grandchildren, Christian, Garrett, Jonathan, Paige, Joshua, Hannah, Rachel Charlesworth (Nathaniel), Caleb and Greyson; his great grandchildren, Carter, Zayden and Ella; his siblings, Tom Newlon and Lisa Kiraly (David); and his brother-in-law George Shepherd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
