It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel R. Whetsel Sr. of Bellefontaine, Ohio, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whetsel and Margaret Whetsel Nelson (Redman); his wife Connie E. Brown; his children, Stephanie Whetsel, Eric Whetsel and Douglas E. Whetsel; his sister Gladys Artis; his uncle Raymond "Slick" Whetsel; and his stepfather William "Bill" Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Brown (Kelvin) of Toledo, Dean Edwin Whetsel (Amanda Maddox) of Bellefontaine and Daniel "Rocky" Whetsel, Jr. (Laura Douglas) of Bellefontaine; and his aunt Nancy Rhea of Urbana. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter.
