He was predeceased by: his father Billy Shelton Peterson. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Peterson (Johnson) of Bellefontaine; his daughter Melissa Ann Peterson of Dublin; his granddaughter Madilyn Shelton Comstock of Dublin; his siblings, Steve Peterson (Bonnie) of Bellefontaine and Beth Peterson; and his former wife Gina Winegardner (Stoney) of Bellefontaine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Billy's granddaughter, whom he helped raise, as she is just starting her freshman year at the University of Cincinnati.
