He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Edward and Lenora Metz (Barnhart); his wife Martha Bradford; and his siblings, George, Earl Metz, Lorraine Spencer, Allie Diehl and Charlene Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Titus (Kim) of Zanesfield, Phillip Metz (Rita) of Bellefontaine and Christine Crawford (Brian) of Zanesfield; and his grandchildren, Stacie Coy (Jeff) of Zanesfield, Amy Stahler (Chad) of Zanesfield, Beth Dickson (Ryan) of Lakeview, Rori Metz of Marysville, Brandy Firestone (Steve) of Dublin, Matt Metz (Jillian) of Zanesfield, Tara King (David) of West Liberty and Kristopher Crawford (Morgan) of Worthington, Ohio. He is also survived by twenty four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
