He is survived by: his sons, Aftab Datta (Yulia) and Shehryar Datta (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Yasmin, Anika, Jack and Charlie; the mother of his children Samina Datta; his brother Shonil Datta (Farzana); and his niece Samina Shaw.
