He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Bernard and Esther Bernard (Braccaloni). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ferguson; his sons, Anthony Bernard (Charity) of Bellefontaine and Louis Bernard of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Kinzie and Angelo; his sisters, Rose Antonio of Dublin and Toni Bernard of Columbus; his niece Andrea; and his nephews, Christopher and Blaise Antonio.
