She was predeceased by: her parents, James Phillip and Josephine Lombard (Green); her daughter Christine 'Chris' A. Black; and her sisters, Patricia Vandenbord and Joan Pezzatta.
She is survived by: her husband Howard F. Black Jr.; her children, Malinda 'Mindy' Daring (Dane) of Bellefontaine, James Black (Allison) of Saltillo and Amy Wheeler of Longwood, Florida; her grandchildren, Trey Daring (Kyle) of Bellefontaine, Bryn Stewart (JR) of Bellefontaine, Jimmy Black (Helen) of Montclair, Dr. Ryan Black (Mary) of Bozeman, Patrick Wheeler of Longwood, Florida and Marc Wheeler of Longwood, Florida; her stepgrandson Ryan Wheeler (Meri) of Wilmington, Delaware; her great grandchildren, Sutton, Rowen, Bexley Daring, Paxton, Crosley Stewart and Xavier Black; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zach and Caleb Wheeler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
