He was predeceased by: his parents, Roe Litteral and Marie Litteral (Howard); his siblings, Maxine Rosser, Dolores Cass and Raymond Litteral; and his son-in-law Tom Dorsey.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Joann Litteral (Patterson); his children, Lori Dorsey and Greg Litteral (Ruth) of Belle Center, OH; his grandchildren, Katie Whittle (Ansel) of Thomson, GA, Kristie Purtee (Derrick) of Anna, OH, Misty Moore (Mark) of Glendive, MT, Tara Arndt of Castle Pines, CO and Tim (Renee Arndt); his great grandchildren, Ansel Jr., Alex Whittle, Andy, Jack Purtee, Gabe Arndt, Brogan, Ronan and Rykan Arndt; and his siblings, Charlene Cameron, Roy Litteral (Jackie), Bub Litteral and Bill Litteral.
