He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leiter and Dorothy Baldwin Leiter; his wife Linda Kay Phillips; his daughter Cheryl Forsythe; and his sister Virginia Loy.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Richter (Bob) of Lakeview, OH, Allen Leiter (Deb) of Belle Center, Jeff Leiter (Dina) of Belle Center and Bob Leiter of Russells Point, OH; and his grandchildren, Carl Richter (Moriah), D'Anne Braun (Lauren Martel), Jason Richter, Bret Brown, Brenda Moots Holder (Brian), Amy Cartwright (Ward), Mollie Rogan (Preston), Michael Leiter (Jamie), Kyle Leiter (Kylie), Carly Northeim (Tyler), Cory Leiter, Lindsee Adams (Justin), Ryan Ridge, Colin Ridge (Taylor) and Dylan Ridge (Stephanie). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contribution may be given in his memory to ILDC Fox Island Maintenance Fund or Belle Center United Methodist Church Maintenance Fund.
