He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Wharton and Willis Wharton; his close friend Baylee; his wife Ann; his daughters, Susan Staley, Rebecca Jay and Ellen Chicoine (Greg); his grandchildren, Sara Hunt (Jason), Carly Weng (Jay), Benjamin Holahan, Oliver Jay (Megan), Evan Staley and Claire Staley; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Will Weng, Cora, David Hunt and Wren; and his siblings, Jeanne McKenzie, Nancy Skidmore and Mike Wharton (Carol).
