He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Powers and Rhoda Powers; his siblings, Elizabeth Collinsworth, Winnie Litteral, Lessie Vest, Jane Beatty, Ida Jackson, Jewel Garrett, Georgie Wilson and Harry Powers; and his granddaughter Brenda Faye Gibbs.
He is survived by: his brothers, James Powers (Ethel) and Bud Powers (Lorraine); his wife Betty; his sons, Ronnie Powers (Connie) and Samuel Dean Powers of South Lebanon; his stepchildren, Rosemarie Brewer (Chuck) of Newport, Steven R. Wukmer of Dayton and Michael A. Wukmer of Carmel; his grandsons, Todd Folino, Jason Powers (Laura), Michael Alexander Wukmer (Gina), Lucas Wukmer and Bryan Gibbs (Heather); his great grandchildren, Ella, Shyanne, Carley, Halley, Alexis, Gavin, Ethan, Kaylob, Justice and Grady; and also, Rose, Steve and Mike.
