She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCormick and Rosella McCormick; her siblings, Betty Bennington, George, William, John, Rick, Curt and Ronnie McCorick; her children, Sgt. Todd M. Bates, Guy Bates and Misty Carrigan; and her sisters, Judy Beckett and Phyllis Yocum.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Griffin; her children, Ricky Bates, Shirley R. Jeffries and Tina Moncer; her siblings, Gary McCormick (Linda) and Lydia "Liddy" Garloch (Chuck); and her daughter-in-law Frances Hendershot-Bates. She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home - Bellaire Chapel (441 37th St, Bellaire, OH 43906). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
