She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shaw and Anna Shaw (McCort); her husband John T Hanson, Sr.; her brothers, George Shaw and Carl Mahoney; and her nieces, Patricia and Ruth Anne Mahoney.
She is survived by: her sons, John T. Hanson, Jr. (Barb Lay) of Cape Coral, FL, Gary W. Hanson (Kathy) of Canton, OH and David Hanson (Nancy) of Bridgeport, OH. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
