She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Bell, Sr. and Geraldine Bell (Geer); her daughters, Tonya Weekley (Calhoun) and Shawntee Calhoun; and her brother Chester Bell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, John Calhoun Jr. and Ocie Ewan; and her half-son Josh Calhoun (Rhome). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
