Linda Ricker wrote a sympathy message

“My husband and I had known Rhea and Paul Rose since early in our marriage. Paul was head coach at two different Indiana high schools in the 1960's and we remained friends throughout the years. Rhea was a marvelous personality who reached out to others, supported Paul's work to the nth degree. When they first moved to Ohio, Paul became head coach at Marion Catholic which was my home town. Once we all retired, Dick and I visited the Rose family in Bellaire, Ohio. We loved them dearly.”

Stephanie Brown wrote a sympathy message

“I just learned of the passing of Mrs. Rose. She was my 8th grade teacher. She was my favorite teacher of all the teachers that I have had throughout elementary school, high school, my bachelor's degree, my master's degree, and continuing education. She had a strong influence on my life and my desire to become a teacher. I hope to someday be remembered as fondly by my students as Mrs. Rose is remembered by hers. She was a wonderful lady and the world is less without her in it.”
