He is survived by: his wife Judith Keller Blanton; his son Brett Blanton (Ami) of Wheeling, WV; his stepson Eric Marling of Bellaire, OH; his siblings, Bob Blanton (Diane) of Amelia, OH and Jean Mick of Shelbyville, KY; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Samantha and Michael Blanton.
