He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr and Marie Johnston Sr. (Braunlich); and his sister Jeanne L. Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Paula Johnston (Rose); his children, Michelle Collignon (William) of Grove City, OH and Geoffrey E. Johnston; his sisters-in-law, Noreen Decker of Wheeling, WV and Janet Green of Greensboro, NC; his granddaughters, Anna Marie, Sarah, Abigail and Grace Collignon; and his nephews, Thomas Decker and Michael Green.
