He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ike and Gail Myrtle Newell (Schramm); and his siblings, Bill Newell, Gail Marie Worley, Dick Newell and Donald Newell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Newell, Lisa Newell (Frank Cika), Darla Newell and Cassandra (Adam Shoemaker); his grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Gavin, Abigail, Brayonah and Alayah; his great grandchild Gunnar; and his siblings, Charles Newell, Bert Newell and Debbie Swift. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
