Raymond J. Nagy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2025, at the age of 74, Raymond J. Nagy of Bedford, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raymond J. Nagy to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Raymond farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Raymond is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Rosemary A., Ron J. Nagy (Yvonne Keenan) and James J. Nagy (Diane); and his nieces and nephews, Robert, Jason Keenan, Lance Keenan, Stacy Nagy and Rose Nagy.

The family would appreciate contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 Saint Clair Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110 in memory of Raymond.

Neal Hedervary wrote a sympathy message

“Ray’s generosity was unmatched. He always remembered my daughter’s birthdays and all holidays with magnanimity. He was here for so many happy occasions. Ray would bring over his Chevelle so that they could experience riding in a race car. Ray enjoyed that experience as much as my daughters. did. So many fond memories of him. RIP Ray. He was a good and faithful servant of our Lord.”

“Ray was a friend of the family. He had a great sense of humor and liked to play harmless pranks. I have many great memories of laughing with him. He had an infectious smile and laugh. He loved Jesus and walked the life of a true Christian. I have no doubt he was welcomed into heaven by his Lord and Savior with the words “well done good and faithful servant.” I’ll see you again one day in heaven Ray and we’ll have some laughs.”

Neal Hedervary wrote a sympathy message

“Ray was a great friend to many. Always offering a helping hand to others. For years he collected bread etc. from stores and would take the goods to the City Mission on the weekend. He was a true Christian and worshiped at the Gospel House for years. He never complained about his pain. He enjoyed playing golf which we did every Saturday morning as well as the trips we made several times to Myrtle Beach in the spring. I always told him that for his good deeds he would be on an elevator to heaven.”
