With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M Kallos of Bedford, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her brother Leonard Farago (Dana); her sister-in-law Irene Takacs Brzezinski; and her parents, Mary Farago and Andrew Farago.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Dougherty (William), David (Maureen), Donna Santabarbara (Sam) and Diane Kallos; her granddaughters, Nicole, Christine and Jennifer Santabarbara; and her nieces and nephews, Kathleen, Timothy, Patrick, Donald Takacs (Kathy), Janice Bahara (Walter), Linda Shivey (late Robert) and Donna Lappert (Michael).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Cleveland Metroparks, Bedford Reservation, or Hospice of the Western Reserve in memory of Joan.
